OTHER ANORAK STUFF

This compilation was drawn from two CD?s the band produced to sell at gigs and to try to acquire that elusive deal. We never got the deal, but we did get plenty of airplay on local radio and even got a spin on Radio One. Thank you, Steve Wright and Andy Kershaw.

Tracks one to four come from ?Everything is Beautiful and I?m Going to Live Forever? (500 copies) and tracks 13 to 17 from ?We?re Only Ugly When We?re Awake?(Lost count after about 400 copies).

Tracks 6 to 12 came from ?Rocking Horse Shit? (25 copies for promotion), initially a mini album, then a full length one supposedly for release on Probe Plus records from Liverpool. At least, I think that was the plan. You?ll have to ask Jeff Davies.

Track 5 is a live version of a song we never really got right in the studio and track 18 is another live recording of a track destined for our unmade fourth outing on CD. The out-takes from our last studio session are too dreadful to contemplate for inclusion. Good for a laugh though.
