Veterans of such noted northern groups as the Jeff Hill Band, Drive North West, The Last Blues Band and Toy Shop, they united early in 2003.
These boys have been around for a while and look forward to making your
ears sing at the gigs. Playing and eclectic mix of rock, psychedelia and
roots music, mixing versions of well known standards with original songs,
They would love to buy you a drink but will restrain the impulse, sadly.
What else can you expect at a Tribal gathering...lots of
guitars, bass, drums and a degree of shouting.
The Tribal Elders are...in order of units of alcohol consumed last year:
- Steve: Guitar, has an interesting dog. Sings if tortured with lager
- Mark: Drums, percussion, boundless enthusiasm. Likes home improvement
- Ray: Bass, mandolin, singing after a fashion. Lives in a warehouse
- Dave: Guitar, singing the wrong words. Lies about his drinking
